Life After University ?

Fuh! Now I’m waiting for the result of my final semester to be released in about 2 weeks time. Tension and of course nervous.

My life is now fill with miserable daily counting down… I’m unsure where to go after this. I have 2 choices : Go for small companies or big companies. Few of small companies offering me jobs in KL and Damansara, yet i’m not sure if they can help me to process the working permit as few of my friends didnt get the working permit..

Big companies? Ha! No reply yet… I’m very hoping to go for few big companies that I have applied such as BAT, Axon, P&G, etc etc…

Well, here is my review of 3 years studying in Monash Malaysia:

1. Monash was used to be top top university. When i entered in 2005, monash was rank 31 in the world! (I was so proud to be the student at that year!). But over the years, the standard has been dropped down to the unbearable rankings..

2. Since monash malaysia moved to the new 200 million ringgit buildings, the standard in acquiring new students has been degrading. I was talking to one of my friend from Victoria University(VU), which he said that in year 2005, to enter Monash from VU required excellence academic results. But since moving to new building, everyone is welcome even to the extend “not so good” result will be accepted. This is because they need to cover the expenses of the building costs.

3. FYI, the building construction was started in year June 2004 and finished in June 2007. 3 years time to build the Monash Sunway Campus was a short period of time with Australian Style

4. The cost of studies keep on increasing per semester ranging about RM 1,000. *OMG*

5. Computers are never enough even though in the new buildings the school has added many more computers but if you wanted to use the computer at lunch time, forget it and queue in the line!

6. Monash staffs are ranked to be one of the best in Malaysia… for my school, IT department, some of my lecturers are head of IT groups in Malaysia and they are really know what they are doing!! *cheers*

Anyway, Monash University has just celebrated its 50 years anniversary and Monash University Sunway Campus also just celebrated its 10 years anniversary… *HAPPY BIRThday*
